After a thorough examination and treatment plan, Dr. Jiang Cheng-Lun recommended a minimally invasive implant procedure for Guada. Unlike traditional methods that often require lifting the gums, suturing, and even bone or tissue grafting—with long recovery times—this technique involves only a small incision. On the day of the procedure, the surgery took place in a rare positive-pressure sterile operating room, built to international medical center standards and significantly reducing the risk of infection. Dr. Jiang’s expertise and attentiveness left Guada pleasantly surprised: “I thought it would be grueling, but it was far easier than I imagined.”

“Traditional implants usually have the junction hidden in the bone,” Dr. Jiang explained. “That means the dentist has to work beneath the gum line, and cleaning afterward can be more complicated. The TLX implant is different. Its junction sits at gum level, with a short, polished metal collar exposed above the gums. This design allows dentists to avoid repeated manipulation under the gums, and it makes brushing and cleaning at home much easier. With less chance of bacteria building up, the risk of inflammation is reduced. The result is greater long-term stability—an implant that lasts longer and offers real peace of mind.”
