第 14 屆亞太兒童牙科醫學會雙年會（PDAA 2026）於台北舉行。本屆大會特別策劃的會前大師課程——「兒童牙科靜脈鎮靜現場示範（Pediatric IV Sedation Live Demo）」，特別選在金山蒔美牙醫診所手術室進行，作為海內外醫師近距離觀摩臨床處置流程的交流場域。
The 14th Biennial Congress of the Pediatric Dentistry Association of Asia (PDAA 2026) was held in Taipei. As a highlight of this year’s program, the pre-congress masterclass, "Pediatric IV Sedation Live Demo," was hosted in the operating suites at Jinshan Smile Dental Clinic, serving as a dedicated clinical exchange venue for practitioners from across Taiwan and abroad to observe procedural workflows firsthand.
本次示範由蒔美牙醫 陳鈺婷醫師與麻醉專科蘇百川醫師共同執刀教學。 從複雜的兒童牙科全口治療， 到講求時間效率的靜脈鎮靜照護， 兩位醫師透過臨床實作與全程英文解說， 向現場國內外牙科醫師 深度剖析治療過程中的即時判斷， 展現牙科與麻醉團隊高度協作的專業默契。
The live clinical session was co-led by Dr. Yu-Ting Chen of Smile Dental and board-certified anesthesiologist Dr. Pai-Chuan Su. Covering everything from complex full-mouth pediatric dental rehabilitation to time-sensitive IV sedation care, both clinicians delivered hands-on treatment alongside real-time English commentary. They provided visiting dentists with an in-depth breakdown of critical, split-second decisions, demonstrating exceptional synergy between the dental and anesthesia teams.
門診靜脈鎮靜臨床交流，分享在地臨床實務經驗
Advancing Outpatient IV Sedation: Sharing Local Clinical Expertise with a Global Community
課程於 10 月 16 日舉行，吸引了來自比利時、紐西蘭、印尼、印度及台灣共約 20 位海內外牙科醫師參與。
Held on October 16, the masterclass brought together approximately 20 dental practitioners from Belgium, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, and Taiwan.
在兒童牙科領域中，面對配合度較低或治療範疇較廣的兒童個案，門診靜脈鎮靜需在維持自主呼吸的狀態下進行。牙科治療過程中的水氣控制與呼吸道管理，對於團隊的操作節奏與協同默契有著高度要求。本次課程透過手術室的實際示範，向與會醫師分享台灣在門診鎮靜臨床處置上的操作細節與團隊配合模式。
In pediatric dentistry, outpatient intravenous sedation is vital for patients with limited cooperation or extensive treatment needs, all while maintaining spontaneous respiration. Managing procedural water spray while securing the airway requires an impeccable operational rhythm and seamless teamwork. Through live demonstrations in the operatory, the course provided attendees with an inside look into Taiwan’s clinical protocols and collaborative workflows for outpatient sedation.
牙科與麻醉雙專科同台，深度剖析跨團隊臨床即時判斷
本次示範由陳鈺婷醫師與訢辰鎮靜團隊（STARDUST）蘇百川醫師、陳彥丞醫師合作。陳鈺婷醫師專長為兒童舒眠治療與兒童早期矯正；蘇百川醫師則具備多年兒童牙科門診鎮靜的臨床推廣與實務經驗。
The demonstration was conducted collaboratively by Dr. Yu-Ting Chen alongside Dr. Pai-Chuan Su and Dr. Yen-Cheng Chen of the STARDUST Sedation Team. Dr. Chen specializes in pediatric sedation dentistry and early interceptive orthodontics, while Dr. Su brings extensive clinical experience in both advocating for and administering outpatient pediatric dental sedation.

Preoperative Assessment and Dosage Precision: Carefully tailoring procedural plans and drug administration timing based on each child’s physical and emotional status, as well as body weight.
術中呼吸道監控與防水處理
面對牙科操作時的出水環境，麻醉團隊全程留意呼吸道通暢，牙科端則維持俐落穩定的治療步調，兼顧整體流程的流暢與安全。
Intraoperative Airway Monitoring and Fluid Management: Operating in an environment with continuous dental water spray, the anesthesia team maintained vigilant airway patency while the dental team worked at a steady, efficient pace to ensure both procedural efficiency and patient safety.
雙向溝通與即時判斷解析
兩位執刀醫師全程以英文解說各階段的臨床思維與取捨，並於會後安排問答時間，與海內外醫師就治療計畫擬定、跨團隊溝通及臨床實務交流討論。
Dynamic Two-Way Communication and Real-Time Rationale: Both clinicians provided step-by-step English commentary detailing their clinical reasoning and real-time adaptations, followed by an interactive Q&A session covering treatment planning, interdisciplinary communication, and clinical best practices.
